Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Mon, issued a public notice on 15^th July, 2024 that a proposal has been received by the undersigned for recognition of a new village to be known as Longwa Lailo village under PhomchingSub-Division in Mon District, informed DIPR.

The area measures with the following boundaries:

1. North           : Takah River (Phomching)
2. South           : Tangam River (Nyahnyu)
3. East              : Nyahchong (Longwa & LongwaWasa)
4. West             : Taggi River (Tangnyu)

Therefore, it is informed to all the concerned individual/group/village that any claims and objections against the recognition of Longwa Lailo Village should be submitted to the DC office, Mon in written within 30 (thirty) days from the date of issue of this notice. If no objection is received in written within the stipulated time, it will be assured that there is no complaint whatsoever in connection to the above proposal and the matter shall be forwarded to the Government for further necessary action.
