The anthem for Taste of Noklak Society (TONS) was launched today by Deputy Commissioner Noklak Hiazu Meru at Jungyam Fisheries, Noklak.

The TONS anthem was composed by Dr Pritpal Kaur, the SP of Noklak.

While unveiling the CD of the anthem and launching the song on the YouTube channel Noklak Tales, the DC stated that Noklak has many talents and emphasised on the need for proper training and motivation.

Dr Pritpal Kaur urged both the men and women folk to continue on their hard work which would lead Noklak to progress. Youths should establish entrepreneurship instead of consuming abusive substances, she added.

The members of TONS sang the anthem after the release.

Earlier, the program was chaired by Mongshai, president of TONS while the invocation was delivered by Chinge and benediction by Cham.

Taste of Noklak is a farmers’ cooperative formed in 2018 by Noklak farmers and SP Dr Pritpal Kaur. The society produces various organic products such as soaps, shampoos, oils and candies.

TONS) and the Noklak SP Office have also provided training in livelihood to the villages and Self Help Groups (SHG) in Noklak.
