Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru has informed that in continuation of the Office Order even No dated 29th July 2025, confirming the case of African Swine fever in and around Peren district, import of pork, pigs from the district has been banned with immediate effect.

He  further stated that strict action would be initiated against any defaulters as per the relevant section of the law.
