Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Vineet Kumar, IAS, has issued an Order on the road passing through Etsuchukha Colony, Ward-6, Wokha Town.

The order stated: “The Road at Etsuchukha Colony, Ward-6, Wokha Town going from NH-2(Old NH-61) near PO (Planning) office and passing through the colony towards Police Traffic Point-2(below DC Office) is hereby declared as One-Way Road from 7:30AM to 3:30 PM every day of the week.” The Order will be effective till further Order.

In this regard, the DC has issued the following instructions for strict compliance

1. Entry into Etsuchukha Colony shall be from DPO(Planning) office point. Exit shall be from Police Traffic Point-2(below DC Office). Vehicles going down to Mt. Tiyi College side shall enter through PO(Planning) Office end and vehicles going up from Mt. Tiyi College side shall exit from Police Traflic Point-2(below DC office) end.
2. OC Traffic is requested to deploy Traffic Personnel in this regard. Entry and Exit boards may also be placed at strategic locations.
