In view of the the Scrutiny of Nominations for Wokha and Bhandari Town Council to be held on 13th June 2024 at the respective offices of the Returning Officers, the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan (IAS) has put the following restrictions in place to ensure peaceful and orderly conduct of the Scrutiny.
- All Political Parties/Candidates shall strictly adhere to the instructions of the respective Returning Officer with regard to the timing of the scrutiny.
- Only persons as permitted under rule 27(1) of the Nagaland Municipal Election Rules, 2023 i.e candidates, their election agents, one proposer of each candidate and one other person duly authorized in writing by concerned candidate shall be allowed to come inside the Office of the Returning Officer.
- Rallies/procession/march/public meeting/Show of strength shall remain prohibited within Wokha and Bhandari town area on the day of scrutiny.
All Candidates and Political Parties are directed to strictly adhere to the above restrictions and other security measures issued from time to time.
