The District Congress Committee (DCC) Peren conducted a consultative meeting cum membership drive under the theme “Touch the Grassroots Level” at Iting Village, Peren. The meeting was attended by 60 members from different villages, including representatives from the DCC, ACCCs, and District Mahila Congress, stated a press release issued by Nagaland Congress.

The meeting focused on membership registration and preparations for the 2028 general elections. It was a positive and successful discussion, which concluded with lunch.

The primary objective of the meeting was to launch the membership drive and strengthen connections at the grassroots level. During the session, the need for financial assistance from higher authorities was highlighted, especially for transportation and office expenses.

The next meeting will be held at 6-Tening ACCC to continue the primary membership drive.
