Therefore, Lotsükhe in English literally means “Meritorious Scholarship”. He said there are many aspirants who wants to sit for competitive exams with hope and aspiration to enter into government sector someday, yet, the difficulty in paying for coaching fees is the main stumbling block to actualize their dream, therefore having realized this, the DCCTI has come up with Lotsükhe scheme (meritorious scholarship) to facilitate ways and means for deserving meritorious aspirants from economically weaker section to avail coaching course for various competitive exams without any charges.
Tsuipu said that Lostükhe is a “take and give” scholarship project and through this project, the DCCTI will mobilize fund from wilful donors/sponsors and meet coaching expenses of aspirants who are from economically weaker section. The DCCTI will not only mobilize fund for aspirants but will also provide maximum fee concession from the institution’s side, besides, Free Study Materials, Free Revision Class, Counselling, Mentoring, Guidance, tips sharing on how to crack competitive exams etc.
He also added that, 15% course fee waiver for specially challenged aspirants, 10% course fee waiver for aspirants from Eastern Nagaland, 5% fee waiver for other backward tribes and 10% course fee waiver for female aspirants, free classes for prelims and mains qualified candidates.
Till today the DCCTI had offered 100% scholarship to 8 aspirants.
He highlighted that the core idea of this project is to provide free coaching to economically weaker civil service aspirants without much burden to donor/ sponsors.
Dream Catcher Coaching and Training Institute was founded in 2021 during the heights of COVID 19 pandemic with primary motive to actualise the dreams of an aspirant and hence called the “Dream catcher” and true to its nomenclature over the course of 2-year journey the DCCI has produced many officers including 100% scholarship students.
