The Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) has called for strengthening the Forum to safeguard the rights and welfare of all genuine settlers in Dimapur, regardless of their tribal or community affiliations.

This resolution was made during a consultative meeting held at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur, on June 28. Heads of various member organizations present at the meeting unanimously voiced the need to fortify the Forum as a collective platform that represents the diverse population of the district.

The members emphasized that the implementation of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) in Dimapur must be people-friendly as there are literate, illiterate and different sections of society settled, particularly in Dimapur district.

The meeting was attended by interim office bearers, executive members, presidents and chairmen of affiliated organizations, as well as Advisors of the Forum.
