The dedication and blessing program of NPP candidate P.Kezo for Ward-17 was held at AEF panchayat hall on 14 June.
As a permanent resident for the last 32 years,NPP candidate P.Kezo, in his candidature speech, highlighted in those years, he has witnessed the need for development in their area, in issues such as water scarcity, youth empowerment and parking congestion. He discussed the need to generate funding for the youth to Solve problem for the Footstep and drainage system,Work with the public ,Install CCTV and Provide Public health care .
Stressing on the inclusive nature of NPP, Dr.Tseilhoutuo Rhutso MLA, stated that he had chosen NPP candidate from the Chakesang community because Kohima town belongs to all the tribes, religion and caste. “My vision is with Vision of Inclusiveness and equality,” said the MLA.
Weneizo Mero, Upper Agri Youth president in his short speech appealed the candidate to work with integrity and honesty if elected to power.

In his speech, Vincent Belho, Core Committee Convenor & Media cell highlighted some key qualities that are generally considered important for municipal council leaders such as integrity and accountability, responsiveness, vision, competence and expertise, communication skills, long-term planning etc. “Electoral leaders for municipal councils play a critical role in shaping the development, and governance of their local areas,” said Belho. By focusing on the cited qualities, Belho expressed belief that leaders can effectively serve their communities, ensure good governance, and promote sustainable development.
“Voters should consider these attributes when evaluating candidates for municipal council positions,” remarked Belho appealing the electorates to choose P. Kezo and be part of the team who desires to bring these qualities and attributes to the citizens of Ward 17.
The program was blessed with invocation by Rev. Dr. Nungsang Imsong and Hokali K.Yeptho.
