On the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Pughoboto has notified the programme of Special Summary Revision (SSR) of Photo Electoral Roll with reference to 01-01-2025 as the qualifying date.

The Rationalization of Polling Stations would be taken as per the following detailed timeline provided; from 20th August 2024 to 18th October 2024,

(i). House to House (H2H) verification through the BLOs.

(ii). Rationalization/Re-arrangement of Polling Stations.

(iii). Removal of discrepancies in the Electoral Roll/EPIC and

(iv). Improvement of image quality ensuring good quality photographs by replacing blurred, poor quality and not to specification and non-human images in the roll, whenever necessary will be carried out for Preparation of Integrated draft roll with reference to 01.01.2025 as the qualifying date.

After the Publication of Integrated draft electoral roll on 29th October 2024, period for filing claims & objections will be from 29th October 2024 to 28th November 2024. Disposal of claims and objections is to be completed by 24th December 2024 while checking of health parameters and obtaining Commission’s permission for final publication and updating database and printing of supplements is to be completed by 1st January 2024 before the final publication of electoral roll on 6th January 2024. The DEO advised all the BLOs/Supervisors under Pughoboto Election District to follow the schedule as directed by the Commission.
