The Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland, has cautioned its officials against the unethical practice of bribery.

“It has come to the attention of the Department, reports of Departmental officials seeking monetary favours in lieu of award of contract works/supply of works/ for transfer/ posting/others”, DoSE stated in a circular on Wednesday.

Reminding employees such corrupted practices are unbecoming of a government servant and is contrary to the Conduct Rules, the Department warned that “disciplinary action” would be initiated against employees under relevant rules if found indulging in such activities.
