Advisor Youth Resources & Sports and Chairman Shamator DPDB, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung said that to develop a new district all heads of offices and departments need to give more effort and cooperation. Only through collective efforts, the district can be developed, he added.

Speaking at the District Planning and Development Board meeting held at Shiponger river in the district, Yimkhiung also urged the members to address respective departments’ grievances for the smooth functioning of the department, where he assured to help in every possible way, DIPR informed.

Earlier Shamator Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB, Thuvisie Phoji congratulated the Advisor for being re-elected to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and welcomed the members. He said that under Yimkhiung’s leadership the new district will develop and assured cooperation from all departments. Phoji urged the members to discharge their duties sincerely.

He also thanked all the members and said that it was through teamwork and cooperation that the election was successfully conducted.

Construction of town hall, Shamator town; construction of children’s park at Shamator; creation of Kendra Vidyalaya School, Shamator; creation of District Youth Resources and Sports Office Shamator; creation of Urban Health Centre, Shamator; creation of District Hospital, Shamator and creation of a sub-Centre at Chessore Village.
