The District Hub Empowerment of Women (DHEW) in collaboration with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) organized and awareness and sensitisation program on Wednesday at Sangphur village.

The program aimed to create awareness among the community about various women centric schemes and services and to sensitise participants on issues relating to women and child welfare and highlighted about Government initiatives under Mission Shakti schemes related to women’s health, child protection and social security measures.

Frontline workers, women’s groups, village leaders and community members came forward and actively participated in the program. The interactive session was encouraged to the participants for openly discussion on challenges of the women and children faced in the community with emphasizes on collective responsibility in ensuring safety, empowerment and for well- being. The program was successfully conducted with awareness on sensitisation.
