The District Hub of Empowerment of Women (DHEW) organized a plantation drive at the premises of the Community Health Centre, Shamator on Tuesday.

The main initiative was undertaken with the objective of environmental and mental health, improving surrounding to create a more healing, stress reducing and green environment and awareness to educate the public on the importance of trees in reducing pollution and combating climate change within the healthcare campus.

Saplings were planted at suitable location at the CHC campus with the involvement of staffs members. The drive emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean, green and healthy environment for patients, visitors and healthcare workers.
