The Agripreneur & Green Startup Connect 2025 was held at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur, with over 50 entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, and sector experts to explore growth opportunities for sustainable enterprises.
Held on the theme “Green Fund Access: From Grants to Scale”, the event created a platform for stakeholders to engage in dialogue around financing, policy navigation, and scaling strategies for agri-preneurship and green startups.
The day-long program was moderated by YouthNet associate director Neikepekho Shosahie who expressed that Nagaland’s startup and entrepreneurial momentum is accelerating, and by fusing capital access, mentorship, and innovation, not only companies are being created but a resilient ecosystem is getting built to scale.
The event featured sessions led by some of the region’s leading voices in innovation and sustainability.

The resource persons included Dr. Bula Choudhury, senior scientist Guwahati BioTech Park, who spoke on pathways for entrepreneurs to access schemes, grants, and funding opportunities in the evolving ecosystem; Sheena Kapoor, senior manager Access Development Services, who highlighted about Grant for Agroecology Program (GAP) Fund, designed to bridge financing challenges faced by early-stage enterprises; Syed Mufti Alam Rahman, state project manager (NE) Access Development Services, who dwelled on agro ecology and concept note preparation, equipping participants with actionable tools to sharpen their project pitches.
Earlier Ikheshe Kahoto, assistant director Industries and Commerce delivered the opening remarks and highlighted the state’s commitment to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Inspired by Startup Mahakumbh, a premier, industry-led event in India, designed to unite the entire startup ecosystem and enriched through meaningful discussions with agripreneurs across the state, the Agripreneur & Green Startup Connect 2025 was supported by Startup Nagaland, Industries and Commerce, underscoring the importance of collaborative action in driving entrepreneurship and climate-conscious growth.
The gathering was marked by an interactive session, enabling founders and aspiring entrepreneurs to interact directly with experts and funding agencies.
