With the completion of the restoration works at Road Over Bridge (ROB) near Hotel Tragopan, Dimapur on NH 29, the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur has notified of new traffic regulations.

The Order stated that ROB would be open for all vehicular movements from 2nd February 2025 and the traffic regulations would come into effect from the same day.

The traffic regulations notified by the Police Commissioner are:

1. The route from Deluxe Point till Holy Cross Police Point shall continue to be a One – Way traffic.
2. The route from Khermahal to Deluxe Point shall also continue to be a One – Way traffic.
3. Entry of commercial vehicles of any type (Auto rickshaws, Auto Pick-ups, Tata Mobiles) etc shall be strictly restricted on the New Flyover (Tourist Lodge Point towards Deluxe Point) and vice versa from 09:00 A.M to 07:00 P.M.
4. Entry of heavy vehicles from New Field Inter-State check gate inside Dimapur district shall be opened from 7:00 PM till 9:00 AM daily.
5. All other one-way traffic routes and other traffic regulations which were put in place during ROB rehabilitation works shall be relaxed and function as regulated earlier.

The Order also stated that the above mentioned traffic regulations may be subjected to changes as per the traffic convenience and feasibility.
