MGM College Students’ Union, Dimapur conducted the elections for the academic session 2024-2025 on 12th April and held an oath-taking ceremony for the new office bearers on 15th April 2024.

The Principal of MGM College informed that the student body elected Pongshing Konyak as the General Secretary, Lemdang C Phom as Assistant General Secretary, Chunchamwilliu Newmai as Cultural Secretary, Roshida Begum Tapadar as Finance Secretary, Mihlei Konyak as Sports Secretary, Alovika K Assumi and Bikram Rai as Representatives of ANCSU, Disha Das as the Women Coordinator, and Rangwamzoing as Media and Information Secretary.

The election was conducted under the supervision of Election Commissioner Peter Paoginpu, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science.

The Vice Principal, MGM College, graced the oath-taking ceremony, offering encouragement and prayers for the newly elected council members. During the ceremony, outgoing executives shared their experiences and words of encouragement with their successors, fostering a sense of continuity and community.
