Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur has informed that a District-level Awareness-cum-Campaign on the Settlement of Unclaimed Deposits would be held on October 13 at 11.30 a.m. in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Dimapur.

The campaign Is being organized as part of a nationwide initiative launched by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the State Bank of India (SBI) to facilitate efficient and faster settlement of unclaimed deposits, including deposits, dividends, interest warrants, and pensions. The initiative aims to help rightful customers, nominees, and legal heirs to claim their funds without delay.

Participants for the awareness programme will include all Village Council Chairmen under Dimapur District, representatives from the Dimapur Urban Colony Chairman Federation, Goan Bura Union Dimapur, and Goan Bura Association Dimapur.
