The 5th Phase FY 2023-24 Social Audit, District Level Social Audit Public Hearing under MGNREGS implemented during 2021-22, was convened at DPDB Conference Hall, Kohima in collaboration with NSSAA, Social Audit Unit Nagaland on Monday.

Altogether 13 villages were audited in Tseminyu district under Tseminyu Block – Gwachonlo, Khonibinzun, Lotsuphen, Phenda, Phentenjon, Phenwhenyu, Rengmapani, Rumesinyu, Sendenyu New, Sendenyu, Thongsunyu, Tsosinyu and Zisunyu.

DIPR informed that the event was chaired and addressed by Kevilhoubeiu, Project Director cum DPC (MGNREGA), DRDA Kohima.  Imlirenla Sanglir, Asst. Director of NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland, briefed on the review of social audit findings.

Longchar (DRP), SARP, presented the findings of social audit. BDO and staffs, officials from the DRDA, MGNRHGA beneficiaries, village functionaries, VLOs and media participated in the meeting.

The programme concluded with reading out the village wise Gram Sabha resolution and vote of thanks by the chairperson.
