The Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS), in collaboration with Dr. Laji, Dr. Sheila Varghese, and Christian Institute of Health Science and Research (CIHSR) Dimapur, conducted a surgery camp from February 1 to 23 at the Longpang Primary Health Centre in Tuensang District. The camp was funded by the Azim Premji Foundation and National Health Mission (NHM), Nagaland. The camp extended services to residents from Tuensang, Mon, Noklak, and Longleng districts, spanning around 30 villages.

Before the camp commenced, a screening process was conducted, with over 300 individuals evaluated for various surgical procedures. The surgeries were scheduled In three phases. The first phase for minor operations, the second phase for major operations, and the third phase for minor operations with emergency cases being considered priority at each phase.
More than 127 surgeries have been conducted so far and the surgeries were done in the Operation Theatre (OT) at Longpang Primary Health Centre (PHC).
