The District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Dimapur held its monthly meeting at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on 20th March 2025 under the vice-chairmanship & Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojungshi Chang,
Dr. Chang welcomed all members and urged officers to work collaboratively for the district’s overall development. Emphasizing workplace safety, and directed all departments to display posters on the implementation of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act within office premises to enhance awareness.

Among the key agenda items discussed, the board deliberated on the change of nomenclature for certain schools and the registration of societies, which were recommended to the state government for approval.
The meeting also saw the introduction of two new members: B. Yanrunthang Kikon, Superintendent of Jail, Dimapur, and Er. Lhuvoyi, Executive Engineer €, Power, Dimapur.
Additionally, it was decided that a PowerPoint presentation would be delivered by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and the One Stop Centre (Sakhi) in the next meeting.
