Longleng District Planning & Development Board meeting cum Advent Christmas programme was held at Bonshi’s farm near 12 IR. BN. Chingtok on December 13, 2024. Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Longleng, W. Manpai Phom, NCS welcomed the members present to the monthly board meeting and review the previous meeting minutes. This was followed by an Advent Christmas Programme.

Executive Secretary, PBCA, N. Tialemba Phom in his Christmas message spoke about the birth of Jesus Christ and the true meaning of Christmas. He highlighted that Christmas means to renew our heart and build relation with God and to allow Jesus Christ to be born in our hearts.

He said Christmas is a time to remind us that joy has come to this world, the joy that we cannot buy by money or gold.

Christmas greetings were delivered by MLA, A. Pongshi Phom and Deputy Commissioner Longleng, W. Manpai Phom. Special number was presented by STO (Treasury) team, Longleng. The programme was chaired by Extra Assistant Commissioner, Longleng, Kumari Imkongnukla Ao. The programme later culminated with a gift exchanges from all the HODs.
