The Noklak District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of July was held under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB Noklak, P. Longon at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Noklak on July 16.
The house reviewed the previous meeting minutes and took up various agendas. The members discussed on the construction of school gate at Straightway Mission School, ITC, Dan and construction of sub-centre, Tukhinkiu village.
The house also discussed construction of road from Pang to Tukhinkiu village and creation of Sub-centre at Jejeiking village and Noklak village. LADP schemes for 56 A/C Noklak and 57 A/C Thonoknyu for the financial year 2025-26 were also approved by the house. The MLA & Chairman DPDB also directed all the heads of offices under Noklak district to be present during the DPDB meetings in the future.
Zunheboto:

The monthly District planning & Development Board meeting of Zunheboto was held on July 156 2025 at DC’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Dharam Raj (IAS), in presence of Deputy Speaker, NLA and Chairman DPDB, Zunheboto, S Toiho Yeptho, Advisor for Food & Civil Supplies, K.T Sukhalu, (IAS Rtd.), and MLA, Dr Sukhato A Sema. Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner welcomed the members present in the meeting.
The DC presented a comprehensive action plan to achieve Viksit Zunheboto by 2047. He further emphasized and urged the members present to be dedicated and sincere towards their work. He also presented various schemes and programmes undertaken by the centre and state government which are implemented in the district.
Deputy Speaker, NLA and Chairman DPDB, S Toiho Yeptho in his speech appreciated Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto for preparing comprehensive plan in order to achieve developed Zunheboto by 2047. He also suggested that Zunheboto Government College being the only government college in the town to venture into integrated B.Ed course and also tie up with good private institutions to introduce Bachelor of Science in its course.
Yeptho also raised the issue of Drug and Alcohol in the district and advised the Deputy Commissioner and SP, Zunheboto to activate District Liquor and Narcotics Committee and to take active role in stopping the inflow of Alcohol and Drugs in the district.

District program manager (NHM), Rosemary Vitoli presented updated district health profile of Chief Medical Office, Zunheboto.
The programme was followed by approval of LADP scheme 2025-2026, Iconic projects and comprehensive PowerPoint presentation by various departments of Zunheboto district.
Meluri:

The monthly meeting of Meluri DPDB was held at DB’s Court, Meluri on July 16. Chairing the Meeting, Advisor, New & Renewable Energy and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe welcomed all the members present in the meeting.
After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the following agendas were discussed and recommended. Creation of Employment and Skill Development Office, Upgradation of Phokhungri EAC Headquarter, Upgradation of CHC Meluri to District Hospital, Upgradation of Sub-Divisional Education Office to District Education Office, Upgradation of BDO Meluri to DRDA Meluri, Upgradation of Junior Engineer (Electrical) to Executive Engineer (Electrical), Upgradation of AIR Transmission from 100 MHz to 1000 MHz at Meluri headquarter and Upgradation of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon To CVO. The board also finalized and approved the Local Area Development Programme (LADP) 2025-2026.
Dr Shipathu Thupitor, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon and Dr, Nüsa Lohe, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon gave PowerPoint presentation on the departmental activities of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry.
