Dreamz Unlimited launches its latest film “The Missing Tourist”

Advisor to the chief minister, Abu Metha launched Dreamz Unlimited’s latest film “The Missing Tourist” on November 22 at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Kohima. The video is a travel-adventure that follows the story of a missing tourist which will take viewers through some of the most stunning locations across Nagaland.

Speaking at the launching event, Metha praised Dreamz Unlimited for their innovative approach to storytelling and their consistent contribution to the Nagaland’s creative landscape.

Drawing a parallel with the Hindi film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, widely credited for transforming Spain into a major tourism destination, Metha expressed hope that Dreamz Unlimited’s new film would similarly inspire travelers to explore Nagaland.

He emphasized that art, music and films are powerful instruments to attract visitors to the state. He said Nagaland offers experiences through its culture, landscapes, food and music. “What we need is innovation, creativity and strong storytelling to take these experiences to the world,” he added. He stated that once the video is uploaded on YouTube, it becomes global and audiences from far and near will discover Nagaland with just a click. “We must use storytelling and creative innovation to promote our state,” he added.

Director of Dreamz Unlimited, Tiakumzuk shared insights into the making of the film, stating that the team’s intention was not only to entertain but also to showcase Nagaland’s unique beauty through a narrative that audiences can emotionally connect with.

IPR joint director Asangla Imsong, who chaired the event, highlighted the growing synergy between films, creativity and tourism promotion in the state.

The video was launched in the presence of the Dreamz Unlimited team, IPR director Dzüvinuo Theünuo and advisor TaFMA, Theja Meru.
