Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister (Home), Yanthungo Patton, has commended the Peren Police for rescuing two employees of NICADPL who were working on the Peren-Maram road project.
“Their rapid response and well-executed operation led to the safe recovery of the victims,” Y. Patton stated in a press release.
Patton said that the team, formed by SP Peren, successfully rescued the victims after coordinating efforts to locate them and engage with the kidnappers. Applauding the bravery of the team in the face of extreme dangers, the Deputy CM said that their professional conduct ensured the safety of the hostages.
He also informed that the operation led to significant recoveries, including weapons, ammunition, mobile phones, cash, and a wireless set and that one of the perpetrators has also been arrested.
“This successful rescue operation shows the dedication and skill of our police force. Their efforts have ensured the safety of our citizens and sent a strong message against such criminal activities,” Y. Patton further stated.
