The two-week Training on Skill Development for Rural Women through Mobile Skill Morung culminated at Suruhuto Town on Saturday. The training was organised by the Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland, DIPR informed.
Gracing the culmination program, Deputy Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Toiho Yepthomi said that this training was just the beginning and assured that more will follow soon. He said that he will provide different skill development programmes in the days to come. He also gave away the certificates and sewing machines to all the 25 trainees
In his speech, SDO (C), Suruhoto, Trongdiba Tongpi T Sangtam acknowledged the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for initiating the training for the welfare of the people. He also thanked the Deputy Speaker for his concern for the society, particularly the women folk.
Short speeches were also delivered by the various citizens from the Suruhuto Area acknowledging the Department.
The programme was chaired by Employment Officer Zunheboto, Kahoto K Zhimomi.
