The village council of Jotsoma village & Dzüdza village inaugurated a Marketing Shed at Dzüdza village and a Highway Amenity Centre at Kezanu, Jotsoma on March 9
The inauguration was graced by Administrator, Kohima Municipal Council T. Lanusenla Longkumer Peseyie as the special guest who expressed that the marketing shed would benefit village farmers and the amenity centre would provide hygienic water and facilities for travelers.
Former MLA, 8-Western Angami A/C Keneizhakho Nakhro emphasized that these projects were aimed at providing a platform for farmers. He highlighted that the marketing shed was specifically built to ensure that farmers have a platform to sell their products, addressing the challenge of reaching the town for sales.
The construction of the Highway Amenity Centre aimed to address water scarcity with a strong sense of moral responsibility.

It provides water, washing, bathing, and clean toilets for travelers, free of charge for domestic use and at minimal rates for commercial use. The charges contribute to the maintenance fund, ensuring sustainability. The facility also features a rainwater harvest reservoir to provide water for all, emphasizing its accessibility to everyone and urging the public to utilize these amenities.

Rüdolie Nagi, Chairman, Jotsoma Village Council chaired the program. The program was earlier blessed with an invocation by Pastor CRC Jotsoma Revi Gwirie. Keneilekho Senotsu, Chairman, Dzüdza Village Council delivered the vote of thanks.
