Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Longleng Dr Samuel Akho Konyak has urged the youth and literate people of Longleng to help elders so that they can be become financially literate. He said this while inaugurating the six days Financial Literacy training organised by Financial Literacy Community Resource Person (FLCRPs) at CMTC Hall, Longleng on Monday, DIPR said.
Dr Konyak said that the aim should be to educate every individual on becoming financially literate which will empower people and help them make wise decisions when it comes to investment and spending. He stressed especially on educating elder generation about the usage of digitals and technologies.
The program was chaired by Area coordinator, SISD, Longleng Block Amenla and welcome address was given by ADPM Bendangmongba. Vote of thanks was given by District Coordinator, F1 C. Purtoshi Phom. 16 trainees and four participants from each block attended the training.
