The Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union has expressed its shock and grief on Wednesday over the demise of former minister late YM Yollow Konyak in New Delhi earlier in the day.
In its condolence message, ENLU stated that lt. Konyak was gentle natured, kind-hearted dynamic leader who was always passionate about working for the welfare of the society and also executed his assignments diligently. The legislators further described the late fellow legislator as a humble dedicated and a fearless man of great vision who stood and spoke for the truth.
He was a humble and dedicated Government servant who served the government in various capacities with utmost sincerity and also served in various social organizations during his young days for the welfare of the Konyak community, it added.

ENLU further stated that the passing away of lt. YM Yollow was a big loss for the Konyak community in particular and Nagas in general.
“The Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union conveys our deepest condolences to Mrs. Minching Konyak and all the bereaved family members. May God Almighty grant comfort and solace at this darkest hour and may the departed soul rest in peace,” the message added.
