The Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, (MHBHSS) Kohima in collaboration with the Youth Department of Ministers’ Hill Baptist Church (MHBC) organised a Musical Evening with the theme “Echoes of Kindness”, on May 25. The event was graced by Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister Women Resource Development and Horticulture as the Special Guest.
The musical evening was organised in aid of the construction of the new school building.
A host of artists from the school, church and alumni presented various songs. The star attraction of the programme was Moko Koza, an alumni of the school, who serenaded the audience with his number “Happy Day” and “One Day”, informed a press release Dr. Kedise Pucho, Convenor, Organising Committee.
The other performers included Neikhrieo Üsou, Keduokhrietuo Üsou, Symphony Academy of Music, New Dawn band and Nagaland College of Music and Fine Arts.

Exhorting the students, Salhoutuonuo Kruse encouraged them to focus in their studies and achieve their aims in life. She also thanked the school for inviting her to the programme.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the school Principal, Jongshijiba Ozukum. He expressed his gratitude to each and everyone who have generously contributed especially the Donors for the noble cause.
Ozukum also thanked all the participants who worked hard for the grand success of the programme. The programme concluded with a benediction pronounced by Rongsenzenla Aier, the school chaplain.
