The Election Commission of India has uploaded the data relating to the electoral bonds on its website on Thursday in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court of India. The data on the electoral bonds received by political parties since 12th April 2019 had been supplied by State Bank of India on 12th March 2024.

“The Election Commission of India has today uploaded the data on electoral bonds on its website as received from SBI on “as is where is basis”’, EC stated in the press note.

The Election Commission also stated that in the matter electoral bonds, ECI has consistently and categorically weighed in favour of disclosure and transparency, a position reflected in the proceedings of the Hon’ble Supreme Court and noted in the order also.
