The Nagaland Legislative Assembly issued a Memorandum stating that under Rule 8 (1) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly has scheduled February 26 as the date for holding the Election of the Deputy speaker by the Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

Date of filing nomination papers: February 19 -21, 2024
Time: 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M
Date of Scrutiny: February 22 from 11:00 A.M.onwards
Date of withdrawal:February 23
Time: 12:00 Noon to 3:00 P.M
Date of Election: February 26
