According to DIPR, a transformative step towards women’s empowerment unfolded at Circuit House Zunheboto, as a one-day skill development program on food processing took center stage. Orchestrated in collaboration between the district administration, District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), the event resonated as a collective endeavor to uplift the women of the community.

Guided by resource persons and trainers hailing from ISHELU VLO SHG, Naghuto New village, the program drew the active participation of numerous enthusiastic women. The day’s agenda revolved around the dissemination of knowledge on diverse food processing techniques. In particular, the trainers illuminated the art of crafting bamboo shoot pickles, delving into proper preservation methods.
