The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO), on behalf of the people of the eight tribes of Eastern Nagaland – Chang, Eastern Sumi, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Phom, Sangtam, Tikhir, and Yimkhiung – has congratulated Narendra Modi on becoming the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy today.
In a congratulatory note, ENPO stated that securing a consecutive third term in office is a remarkable achievement that “stands as a testament to your unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and the trust you have instilled in millions of Indians.”
The apex body of the public of Eastern Nagaland also commended Modi’s “tireless efforts and transformative vision” that have steered the country towards “unprecedented growth and prosperity.”
Further, it expressed confidence in Modi’s vision and commitment in strengthening “our democratic institutions and promote the well-being of every citizen.”
Highlighting that the region of Eastern Nagaland “remains one of the most undeveloped and marginalized areas in the country – a stark reminder of the socio-economic and political disparities that persist,” ENPO stated that the people eagerly anticipate PM Modi’s leadership to facilitate their inclusion and participation in the nation’s progress.
