“Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness we feel at the loss of this precious life”, the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO) has said on the demise of Noke Wangnao, Advisor of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland and MLA 43 Tapi AC under Mon district. Noke passed away of Monday.

The organisation hailed late Noke Wangnao as a “great statesman and a dynamic leader who had given his unwavering and selfless service to the Naga society and the Eastern people in particular throughout his social and political career.” ENWO also acknowledged the late legislator’s immense contributions in bringing many social changes, transformation and upliftment of the society and stated that those would be remembered forever.

“His passing away is an irreplaceable loss not only to the family and community in particular but to the State in general,” ENWO added as it conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of late Noke Wangnao and prayed for comfort and consolation.
