Supported by Task Force of Music and Arts (TAFMA), the All Nagaland Private School’s Association (ANPSA) Zunheboto Unit in collaboration with Green Club Zunheboto organised a solo singing competition and group dance competition today at Cornerstone Higher Secondary School hall.
Vincent Sukhalu, President ANPSA (Z), delivered the welcome address in which he said the event was organised with the intent to provide a fun and entertaining programme for the students of the town amidst all the academic studies taking place throughout the year.
Sukhalu noted that extra-curricular activities are as important as academic studies for students in their learning development, and wished the participants the best in taking part in the competitions.
In the solo competition, Cornerstone Hr Secondary School emerged as the winner with Sunbeam School and Broomfield Hill Hr Secondary School taking the place of first and second runners-up respectively.
In the group dance competition, Cornerstone Hr Sec School came in first again followed by Kids World Montessori as the first runner-up and Seven Home School as the second runner-up.

The judges for the solo competitions were Kito S Awomi, Abotoli S Achumi and P K Toli. For the group dance competition, the judges were Mughaka V Awomi, Holoka T Sumi and Akina T Assumi.
The program was chaired by Angukato H Achumi, Gen Secy Green Club while the invocation was pronounced by Vivek Yeptho, Counsellor Love Dale School.
Special presentations were presented by Cornerstone Hr Secondary School and Little Spring School. The vote of thanks was proposed by Toighi Zhimomi, Vice President ANPSA (Z) and the benediction by Atokali Chishi, Chaplain Immanuel Hr Secondary School.
