Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung conducted an orientation programme for the newly admitted first semester students of BA/B.Sc/B.Com on July 9 at the college auditorium. Principal Dr I Wati Imchen congratulated the students for successfully clearing the HSSLC exam and welcomed the students.
Aligning with the vision of the college to develop the College into a hub of Multidisciplinary
Studies and a Centre for Indigenous Research of National and International Relevance, the Principal urged the students to be involved in fulfilling the vision and mission of the college and encouraged them to move forth with the spirit of adventure, exploring their academic life in the college.
One notable feat of the College this year is introduction of Commerce Stream and with the onset of the new semester, around 28 students took admission as the first and historic batch of the college.
The Principal appreciated the Commerce students for their boldness and trust in the college ensuring to give the best possible education.

On the occasion, the college administration also announced and reimbursed 50% of the admission fee to the highest scorers in all the three streams i.e., Arts, Science and Commerce.
The programme included an orientation of the Course Structure of FYUGP under NEP 2020 by the Vice Principal, LS Vinod Kumar, Talisenla, Associate Professor and HoD, Department of Education, highlighted the Code of Conduct and Dr Lendina, Librarian, instructed and informed on availing the facilities of the College library. The programme was chaired by Limasenla Y Jamir, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, and attended by the faculty, students and parents/guardians.
