The Faith Theological Seminary (FTS) Jotsoma, Kohima conducted its 15th Convocation programme on Thursday at their church campus, Jotsoma.

Gracing the convocation as the guest speaker, Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, senior pastor, Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister’s Hill Kohima, congratulated all the graduated students of 2023 batch.

He said the society “we live in today is prevalent with complicated issues which need mutual dialogues in the light of theological understanding.”

Rev Phesao mentioned that atheism is growing, religious oppression is on the rise, false teachings and wrong doctrines are confusing people and temptation and distractions of all nature are confronting from all direction. “Today, we, who are involved in the God Ministry and those who are freshly joining ministry, must give utmost attention to these urgent issues,” he said.

Rev. Dr. Phesao felt that the servants of the gospel should not work as machines or robots, but as real human beings of flesh and blood who can share their lives with people around.

The gospel of peace and salvation must be the core of our lives, he said and told the servants of the gospel “to watch their life and doctrines closely.”
