The Felicitation program in honour of Neibodzelie (Bubu) Solo Councillor, Kohima Municipal Council organised by the PWD, Ward 11 Kohima was held at PWD Panchayat hall, Kohima on July 5.
Neibozelie Solo (Bubu), Councillor, KMC in his speech commended the Panchayat members for their unwavering commitment to the welfare of our community. Acknowledging the diligence in addressing both trivial and essential matters alike is truly, the Councillor affirmed his commitment to in considering every issue, no matter how small, with equal importance, thereby ensuring that no concern of the citizens goes unheard or unattended.
“Our proactive approach in staying connected with the citizens, both on an individual and mass level, is exemplary and this constant engagement has not only fostered a sense of unity and trust but also ensured that the needs and aspirations of our community are always at the forefront of our collective efforts,” stated Solo.

As their councillor, he appealed the Panchayat members for their guidance and advice, acknowledging their experience and wisdom which are invaluable assets that he deeply respect and seek to learn from. In the affairs of the ward and in matters of moral etiquettes, Solo said, he look to them to help him connect more deeply with their community and to serve them with the utmost integrity and compassion.
He also extended his heartfelt gratitude for their support and encouragement, and for putting their trust in him and in electing him unopposed in the recent Urban Local Body elections.
“With unity, dedication, and a shared vision we will achieve our goal together,” said Solo.

Speeches were delivered by President, PWD women organisation Akhale Swiiro, President, PWD Youth organisation Vilhoulie Kelio and Hokito Jakhalu, Gen. Secy.

Upper PWD colony Chairman Micheal Neikha said they are privileged and blessed to have a candidate who won unopposed . He said there are three sector in their colony so he hope they will have a representative from each ward to make sure all the sector needs are met.
Middle PWD colony Chairman Tewetsole Neikha said that the uncontested candidates are the best among the best and they were unopposed because of a reason and that is because people have faith and hope in them. Neikha expressed hope that they will work together for the development and betterment of the colony .
Dozhohü Tünyi, Chairman, PWD Panchayat shared the need to organise the program to let the organisation leaders put forward the demands and wants to their councillors. He hope that during his tenure as councillor, th Councillor will bring many changes in their ward and colony.
The vote of thanks was pronounced by Sethrongse Sangtam, Secy. And Satsü Angami, Deacon pronounced the benediction. Rev. Razouvizo Tetso earlier blessed the program with invocation.
