The grand finale of the year-long 75th Anniversary celebration of Lhisemia Students’ Union will be held 14th October 2023. In a press release, LSU informed that event would be graced by Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and the Advisor for School Education & State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of Nagaland, as the Chief Guest.
LSU also mentioned that the festivities would be held at the courtyard of T.M. Government Higher Secondary School/ Kohima College Kohima (KCK).
As part of the year-long jubilant celebration, a commemorative souvenir will also be released on the occasion, it stated.

The event’s program will include a welcome address by Dzüvinguzo Mepfhuo, Convenor of the Organizing Committee, and a presidential address by Dziesekhrietuo Khruomo, President of Lhisemia Students’ Union. The LSU Choir will present a choral performance, accompanied along with special songs by Menguseu Suokhrie and Visaleü Mepfhuo.
Further, greetings will be delivered from Ayie Yhome, Chairman of Lhisemia Khel, and Vilalhou Sorhie, President of the Kohima Village Students Union (KVSU) while Tseivilie Miachieo, former president of LSU (1975-76), and Keneisevor Dzüvichü will also address the gathering.
Vote of thanks will be proposed by Dr Metuo Liezietsu and the program will be compered by Neingusalie Khruomo and Neitseizonuo Liezietsu, the Lhisemia Students’ Union also said.
Rev. Keviyiekielie Linyü, Pastor, Ebenezer Baptist Church will invoke God’s blessing and Keduoneituo Yhome, Pastor, Phezoucha Baptist Church will offer prayer for the Jubilee feast.
A Jubilee extravaganza showcasing diverse array of talented artists is planned for the day to mark the momentous occasion.
Further, the organizing committee has requested the participation of all L Khel members to attend the grand finale of the 75th Anniversary celebration of Lhisemia Students’ Union positively, while the students from Class-6 onwards have been informed to come in their uniforms.
