The Fire Station Kiphire is undertaking a proactive initiative to spread mass awareness on fire protection and life safety in 2025.

As part of this effort, the station has successfully conducted a fire and evacuation drill at a business building, providing valuable hands-on experience in emergency preparedness.

In addition to the drill, the fire station also provided basic firefighting training to staff and officers of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED).

This training aims to equip participants with essential skills to respond effectively in case of a fire emergency.

The primary objective of these initiatives is to enhance fire safety awareness among the public, empower occupancies with basic firefighting skills, and promote evacuation preparedness.

The Fire Station Kiphire plans to continue conducting drills and training sessions across various occupancies, including residential, educational, and healthcare institutions, to ensure a safer community.
