The first Inter-High School Futsal Tournament in Kohima kicked off at the Coraggio School Futsal Turf Kohima on October 3, organized by The Adjustment Bureau in collaboration with Coraggio school.
Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, MLA of the 9th Kohima Town graced the occasion as the special guest. In his address, the MLA reminded students that while sports and extracurricular activities are important their studies must remain their top priority. He emphasized that the sacrifices and investments of their parents should not go in vain.
The program began with a prayer led by Medovito, Associate Pastor of Lerie Baptist Church. This was followed by a message from Anato Sema, Convenor of the Organizing Committee, who shared the vision behind the tournament and the importance of nurturing young talents through sports.

The oath taking was administered by Kevichüto Yhoshü. Altogether 33 schools are participating in the tournament. 16 schools qualified for the pre-quarters which will be played on October 4.
The organisers acknowledged that the event was made possible with the support of its partners: LA Two Wheeler, AS Gadget Store, Imperial Coaching Centre, Mimi Deli, Foodwifi, Kohima Canopy, Smart Garage, Imprint, Life Sports, and Tipfü Retreat Kigwema.
The Organizing Committeeee extended heartfelt gratitude to Vilelie Khamo and family, Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, Dr. Hovithal Sothu, Zhothose Kraho, Vilone Sakhrie, Vilopi Sakhrie, Viketol Sakhrie, Krodi Rhetso, Colo Mero, Vilekho Bio, Dr. Thajanuo Angelina Solo, Kekhriezhazo Solo, Art and Culture Football Club and Lerie Youth Organisation for their contributions and support towards the tournament to encourage young players.
