Sentitula IFS, DFO Mokokchung, speaking during the opening ceremony as the chief guest.
Earlier, speaking during the opening ceremony, Sentitula appreciated the NJA for organising the event stating that it enhances opportunity for the young participants to be empowered and aspire for success.
Judo as a career option is possible and achievable in the present scenario if one aspires and explores their talents, Sentitula added.
Meanwhile, during her speech at the closing ceremony, Yaden also acknowledged NJA for organising the event on the said theme.
She highlighted some aspects of judo and said that ‘it is a gentle way of taking down your opponent without injury which has its own discipline’.
Urging the participants to give their 100%, she said that, ‘If one works hard towards their goals, they can represent the state or the country even at the international level’.
Stating that winning and losing is a part of every game and that not everyone will get the final berth, she asserted that participation is very important.
