Five days training for senior officers of nagaland civil service officers held in Kohima

The inaugural program of the five days Training for Senior Officers of Nagaland Civil Service Officers was held at Vision Hall, Training Block Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Kohima on 17th September 2024.

The training program was jointly organized by the Department of P&AR & ATI, Nagaland and conducted by St. Stephen’s Centre for Advanced Learning (SCAL), New Delhi.

During the inaugural program Chief Secretary, Dr. J. Alam, IAS emphasized on the need for capacity building of all officers and further encouraged them to learn from the subject experts and from each other. He also shared the requirement of a structure for Rule based system for public administration.

Further, the program was chaired by Additional Director, ATI, Bendanglila, NCS and welcome address was delivered by R. Ramakrishnan, IAS Principal Secretary P&AR and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.

The topics to be covered during the next 5 days by the experts from SCAL will include; Policy formulation & analysis, Leadership Development, Problem solving, Performance & Sustainability etc.

21 Nagaland Civil Service officers attended the training from Joint Secretary to Secretary level officers.
