The District Administration and SANKALP: District Hub for Empowerment of Women (Mission Shakti), under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mokokchung conducted a Flower Arrangement Workshop for women and girls at the  Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung.

Chumlamo Humtsoe, Additional Deputy Commissioner encouraged the participants to avail the opportunity and highlighted the various avenues for self employment, informed a press release.  Imsurenla, Centre Manager, SCK Mokokchung spoke on the various assistance and facilitation rendered by SCK Mokokchung to aspiring entrepreneurs.

The workshop aimed to Inspire creativity and equip participants with practical floral designinng skills.

The resource persons for the workshop were Sentisen, founder of Grace and Bloom Décor and Sentimenla, Sen’s Art and Craft. Through hands-on training and demonstrations, the workshop encouraged and empowered participants to explore flower arrangement as both a creative outlet and an income-generating skill.

The intiative forms part of the ongoing efforts of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao to equip women and girls with practical skills and creative opportunities, furthering the goal of social and economic empowerment.
