Foundation Course for NCS Probationers for 2024 Batch concludes

The Administrative Training Institute conducted the valedictory programme for the one year Foundation Course of the Nagaland Civil Service (Probationers) of the Batch of 2024 on November 29 at ATI, Kohima. The 16 Officer Trainees of the NCS (P) of the Batch of 2024 have been undergoing the one Year Foundation Course at ATI, Kohima since December 2024.

Special address was delivered by V Shashank Shekhar, IAS, Director General, ATT, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture) and Agricultural Production Commissioner. He conveyed his best wishes to the Officer Trainees in their professional as well as personal lives.

He exhorted the Officer Trainees to carry on with the value of hard work that has brought them to their present position and acknowledged the unseen contributions of their families, friends and communities in their journey of success and urged them to give back to the society by setting an example of hard work, integrity and dedication. He also emphasized the importance of taking care of one’s health and to nurture their various human relationships.

Two Officer Trainees shared the experiences of the training which included classroom sessions, attachment to various departments and organisations, Bharat darshan travel to Kerala, West Bengal and Tripura, physical fitness trainings etc. The trainees shared their desire to serve society with compassion and empathy.

The program was chaired by Kaholi Sema, Joint Director, ATI. A brief report of the training was given by Dr A Alem W Longchar, Assistant Director & Course Coordinator.

In his concluding remarks, he quoted that in our work we should have a larger vision for the good of people and society.
