Free medical camp held at Pughoboto

With the initiatives of MLA, Dr Sukhato A Sema, a free Medical Camp was organized by the District Administration and CHC Pughoboto in collaboration with Faith Welfare Society Dimapur at Community Health Centre, Pughoboto on March 2026.

A total of 252 patients were officially registered and received free medical consultations during the camp. Many other individuals also availed themselves of free Liver Scan (Fibro Scan) and other diagnostic services without formal registration of patients from Pughoboto, Mishilimi and several surroundings village, who turned up in large numbers and benefited from the free health care initiative.

The Camp was supported by a dedicated medical team from Faith Hospital comprising 5 specialist doctors, 5 Nurses, 5 technician, 1 pharmacist and 5 supporting staff. During the camp, they worked hand in hand with the Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Staff of CHC, Pughoboto forming a combined medical team of over 50 personnel, including specialists and super specialists from various departments. A wide range of specialised medical services were provided during the camp, including free Liver Scan, Renal Function Test, Blood Sugar Screening, Surgical Consultations, Medical and ENT Services, Dental Care, HEAD and Neck Examination, Thyroid check up and Oral & Maxillofacial services.

The people who availed the services expressed their heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation to MLA, Dr Sukhato A Sema for his noble initiative, compassion and unwavering commitment to the health and wellbeing of the community.
