The first of its kind Frontier Fiesta night carnival which was organised by District Administration Noklak in collaboration with Noklak Town Council and 14 Assam Rifles kicked start at Noklak Public ground on December 13 which will continue till December 15.

The purpose of the carnival is to bring the citizens together and experience the spirit of festivity, music and food during which hundreds of people gathered to be part of the event. It is also giving an opportunity to local entrepreneurs , organisations and individuals to open stalls to boost their business.

Renowned Nagamese singer, Sunep Lemtur graced the inaugural night with his rhythmic and uplifting music which unleashed the musical energy from the crowd, while local artists from the district and beyond also shared the stage. The unexpected interruption of the rain in the midst of the on-going event might have disheartened the people who held such festive mood, however it did not stop them to carry on what had already begun.
