Kiphire: 25 years will guide India into new heights, says Principal of GHSS Kiphire

The Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Sangathan, Kiphire and District Administration Kiphire organized Yuva Utsav under the theme “Panch Pran of Amrit Kaal” in the auditorium of Government Higher Secondary School, Kiphire on Saturday.

Special guest, John Tsulise Sangtam, NCS, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire in his speech emphasised that the 75th anniversary of India’s independence should be celebrated with new hope and vision for youths in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi statement, “India will become a developed nation by the time we reach 100 years centenary”.

The DC stressed that to achieve this goal, the next 25 years is very critical and that “the youth of this country play a vital role in bringing this to reality”.

“How you think, how you act and live will determine the future of the nation,” he said while adding, “If all youths sincerely and in true dedication work towards their dreams and goals, success is not far-fetched.”

Tsulise further congratulated NYK, Kiphire for successfully organizing these “wonderful events” to boost the moral, building more confidence and shaping the minds of the young people towards a better human resource.

Delivering the keynote address, P Rebecca Rangnamei, District Youth Officer (DYO), NYK, Kiphire said it is indeed a delight for NYK, Kiphire to share a common platform with district administration and bringing different cultures and tribes under one event.

“Today’s events will be a gateway to represent the district, state and nation”, she said and wished all the participants the very best in the competitions.

Principal, GHSS, Kiphire, Yogendra Pal Singh in his welcome address lauded the NYK for sincerely organising such a meaningful event and hoped that the programme will instil new skills, knowledge and learning for all who are a part of it.

Stating that India is celebrating 75th years of its independence and hoping that the next 25 years will guide India into new heights even to become a developed nation as India is picking up pace in development and progress.

Yuva Utsav Kiphire witnessed active participation for multiple competitions – Young Artist Camp – Painting; Young Artist Camp – Poem, Photography, Declamation Contest; and Cultural events – from different schools both private and government besides other participants from different community and churches around Kiphire Town.

The program’s moderator was Nuzise S Sangtam, NYV; invocation was delivered by Livila, Prayer Secretary, Evangelical Union (EU) Kiphire; ‘Dream it possible’ was performed by Vilika, NYV Kiphire; vote of thanks was given by Rose Anar, NYV.
