The programme commenced with an invocation pronounced by the Pastor of Longleng Town Baptist Church, Rev H Beau Phom.
In his address, Kudecho Khamo congratulated the engineer and administration for their initiative and for completing the much-needed project in time. He also informed about the challenges faced by the government due to the need for land for further development.
He asserted that earlier, the landowners provided land for development, resulting in the emergence of towns and cities, schools, offices, and roads.

Khamo also apprised the gathering that the Chief Minister is consistent with his work for the further development and welfare of the state. Many initiatives, such as micro finance, bank loans for start-ups/entrepreneurship, are being taken up by the government to provide jobs to unemployed youths. He also informed that this year the government has launched a new scheme called ‘Skills and Entrepreneurship Development Mission’ which will benefit the youth. This scheme is to encourage people to start a business and to promote entrepreneurship, he said.
MLA, A Pongshi Phom, in his address, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the landowner for generously granting space for the construction of the Guest House, and said this gesture has enabled the community to benefit from the facility for an extended period without any disruptions.
